On April 2, Malaika Arora had a car accident and was admitted to a hospital in Mumbai. Her sister, Amrita Arora, exclusively gave Malaika’s health update to IndiaToday.in.

On Saturday (April 2) afternoon, Malaika Arora met with a car accident while she was returning from a fashion event in Pune. As per reports, the 48-year-old suffered an eye injury and was admitted to Apollo Hospital, in Mumbai. The accident took place on the Mumbai-Pune expressway when the actress's car rammed into three other cars near Khopoli.

Talking about her sister's health, Amrita Arora exclusively told IndiaToday.in, that the actress is doing better. She said, "She is fine and stable". Earlier in the evening, a source close to the model-turned-TV host told us that she is pretty shaken by the accident.

"Malaika is shaken by the incident but doing okay. She has had a few stitches and is doing fine. She didn’t have any major head injury as she had a cushion next to her head. She should be back home by Sunday afternoon," the source said.

While cops are investigating the case, for now, an FIR will be filed later, claimed a few reports.

Malaika was recently seen with actress Kirron Kher, Manoj Muntashir, and Baadshah on India's Got Talent. She came as a guest judge due to the absence of Shilpa Shetty for two episodes.
