Mahhi Vij, Jay Bhanushali file FIR after cook threatens to stab them, actress says 'I am scared'

Mahhi Vij and Jay Bhanushali are going through some troubling times. The couple filed a police complaint on Thursday, June 30, after their temporary cook threatened to kill them and their two-year-old daughter Tara. Mahhi took to Twitter later to post a series of tweets recounting her experience, but later deleted the tweets. However, she spoke about the incident to the paparazzi in Mumbai and confirmed it. Mahhi also recounted the horrific incident in a subsequent interview.

Mahhi Vij was spotted by the paparazzi outside an award event in Mumbai. She talked about the incident there and said, "This happened yesterday. In fact, we were at the police station today. That man was working at our home for three days. Now that we have checked his background, we have got to know that he has done the same in Delhi too. He has been arrested now. There are videos of him where he is clearly saying that he will stab me. He has even abused us a lot. I still don't understand why he had to do all of this."

On June 30 evening, Mahhi Vij took to her official Twitter account to post a series of tweets in which she said that a cook she and Jay Bhanushali hired just days ago was stealing from them. In the now-deleted tweets, Mahhi said that the police was letting him out on bail and she was scared for her and her family. She alleged that the man threatened to stab her with a dagger.

In a now-deleted tweet, the actress wrote, “Scared for my and my daughter’s life. Police and Jay caught this cook and now leaving him on bail to kill us. Wow marne ke baad morcha nikalna he openly saud which was shown to police ki chaaku maar dunga tujhe.”
