Mahesh Babu moved to tears at Sarkaru Vaari Paata event, says he lost dear ones in last 2 years

Mahesh Babu got emotional while addressing his fans at the Sarkaru Vaari Paata pre-release event. He said that he had lost his dear ones in the past two years.
It has been over two years since Mahesh Babu had a release in theatres. With Sarkaru Vaari Paata releasing on May 12, the actor is truly back. At the pre-release event of Sarkaru Vaari Paata, Mahesh Babu became emotional and was moved to tears. He recalled the tough times and said that he lost his dear ones in the past two years. He also thanked his fans for their continued support.
Mahesh Babu was last seen in Sarileru Neekevvaru, which released in theatres in 2020 before the Covid-19 pandemic. The actor took a break for a few months after Sarileru Neekvvaru and the break was extended due to the pandemic.
At the pre-release event of Sarkaru Vaari Paata, Mahesh Babu became quite emotional seeing his fans cheer for him. He was moved to tears and said, "In these two years, a lot of things happened and a lot of things have changed. I have lost some of my dearest ones. But, your support remained the same. That's enough. I will move on in life. This 12th May, Sarkaru Vaari Paata is releasing so it'll be a festival for all of us."

For the unversed, Mahesh Babu lost his elder brother Ramesh due to liver-related ailments on January 8. He couldn't attend the final rites as he was down with Covid-19.
Sarkaru Vaari Paata is a commercial entertainer, directed by Parasuram Petla. The film was postponed a few times due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
