
Maharashtra minister meets governor to discuss online exams for universities

Maharashtra Higher and Technical Education minister met with the Governor to discuss online examination in all 13 state-run universities.
Amid rising Civid-19 cases, Maharashtra Higher and Technical Education minister Uday Samant met Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari to apprise him of the decision to conduct online examinations in 13 state-run universities. Following the meeting, Samant informed the reporters that the governor has given his approval to the decision, adding that the procedures to assess the answer sheet, as well as a declaration of results, were also discussed during the meeting. He added that the Gondwana University in Gadchiroli managed to conduct online examinations before other universities despite the belief that it would be a "geographical challenge".
