Madhuri Dixit pays tribute to guru Pandit Birju Maharaj, says he was a legend with child-like innocence

Madhuri Dixit took to social media to pay her last respects to her guru Pandit Birju Maharaj. He wrote that the Kathal legend has 'left a legacy we will all carry forward'.
Kathak maestro Pandit Birju Maharaj passed away early on Monday, January 187. He was 83. He had been suffering from a kidney ailment and was under dialysis treatment. Many celebrities took to social media to pay their last respects to the "Maharaj Ji" as he was popularly known. Madhuri Dixit, who was a student of Pandit Birju Maharaj shared a throwback photo with the Kathak legend and paid her tribute.
