
Loud music on New Year’s Eve might bring a Rs 10,000 fine to the people in Noida

People who are planning to party in Noida must be cautious of breaking the noise level rules. The Noida police have decided to charge a hefty fine for those who play loud music on New Year’s Eve.
Penalties of up to Rs 10,000 will be imposed in Noida on people who violate the permitted sound limit rules. The Noida traffic police have constantly been conducting enforcement drives around the city to control the noise pollution levels.
As per the report by the Times of India (TOI), Ganesh Prasad Saha, GB Nagar deputy commissioner of police (traffic) said, "Our teams have been equipped with two-decibel metres. They will patrol various areas, especially where the parties and events are generally conducted. We are conducting enforcement drives as per the directions of the National Green Tribunal and the Supreme Court."
