Lok Sabha adjourned minutes before PM's speech, what exactly happened
The Lok Sabha was adjourned amid chaos on Wednesday just minutes before Prime Minister Narendra Modi was scheduled to address the House, after sloganeering and confrontations broke out between treasury and opposition benches, prompting sharp allegations from the BJP that opposition MPs had crossed security red lines.
According to BJP MP Manoj Tiwari, the situation escalated when several opposition women MPs allegedly entered the well of the House and moved towards the chair used by the Prime Minister.
Tiwari claimed that the Prime Minister could not enter the House as the disruption continued despite repeated requests from senior ministers for the protesting MPs to return to their seats.

This moment comes days after the Supreme Court allowed Harish Rana to die with dignity – a historic first court-ordered case of passive euthanasia in India. The court acknowledged the medical opinion that Rana will never recover and that the tubes that feed him and keep him alive are only prolonging his pain.
