Ekta Kapoor, Karan Kundrra and everyone associated with Lock Upp are on cloud nine as the show has broken viewership records. The captive reality show, which is currently streaming on ALTBalaji and MXPlayer, has crossed the 100 million views on OTT in just 19 days after its premiere.
The official Instagram page of ALTBalaji shared the achievement and wrote, "Badass jail ka badass achievement! Celebrating 100million+ views on #LockUpp in just 19 days Don’t miss the Judgement Day episode tonight at 10:30 pm (sic)."
Ekta Kapoor reposted it on her Instagram handle and wrote, "Lock Up crosses 100million views - only reality show to achieve this feat in record time of 19 days - Highest watched reality show on Indian OTT space Enough said JAI MATA DI (sic)."
Karan Kundrra, who is a jailer on the show commented on Ekta's post and wrote, "nufff saidd!!! Jai mata Di (sic)," along with fire emojis.
