Lock Upp contestant Siddharth Sharma calls his eviction 'unfair'. Interview
India Today
In an exclusive interview with IndiaToday.in, Siddharth Sharma opened up about his 'unfair' eviction from Lock Upp. Here's what the actor had to say.
Actor Siddharth Sharma was the third contestant to be evicted from Ekta Kapoor's Lock Upp. Prior to Babita Phogat's eviction, Siddharth was eliminated from the show. And needless to say, he didn't see it happening so soon in the show. Days after he got evicted, IndiaToday.in exclusively did an interview with the actor, where he spoke about his elimination and how it was unfair.
In an exclusive conversation with IndiaToday.in, Siddharth Sharma mentioned that his eviction from Lock Upp was 'unfair'. "Yes, I believe that it was unfair. Because at that moment, I was very happy about the fact that Karanvir was getting to see his family and he was crying the other day. His wife and children were flying to Canada and they didn't. Karanvir Bohra and my father share the same name. I remember my dad. He passed away very young. So, when it was about his children getting to see their father - that got me completely emotional. That took me away from the game. Apart from the game, the show also has to deal with emotional barriers that you overcome," said Siddharth.
Continuing his conversation with us, Siddharth Sharma stated that he didn't expect to be eliminated so soon from the reality show. The actor said that his eviction was completely 'unexpected.'
"I had just started my journey. Initially, I was observing people because it was a new and different show. So, you don't know how to be in the show. The fights could be about the kitchen, it could be about anything. But I thought it was just about the game," he said.
However, Siddharth later realised that the show is not just about the game but about other things as well. "It was more about bonding. I was just picking up in the game and the elimination happened. But I am happy about the fact that they used the word 'tough competitor' and I am happy that they gave me this title," Siddharth signed off.
