Liger producer Charmme Kaur has now gone on a social media detox after the film’s failure. She asked fans to 'live and let live.'

Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday's Liger ticked mark all the formulas that would have worked in the pre-pandemic era. The actors even went all out in the film's promotions. However, the film still failed to bring back the audience to the theaters! The recently released film has crashed miserably at the box office. It has been receiving negative reviews from the audience and critics. Amid this, Liger's co-producer Charmme Kaur has gone on a social media detox.

The co=producer of Liger, Charmme Kaur, took to her Twitter account on September 4 to announce her break from social media. She tweeted, "Chill guys! Just taking a break ( from social media )@PuriConnects will bounce back Bigger and Better... until then, Live and let Live (sic)."

Liger has been receiving negative reviews from critics and audience alike since the first day. The film has completed one week in theatres and is struggling hard to mint money. According to distributor Warangal Srinu, Puri Jagannadh will hold a meeting with distributors in Hyderabad to discuss their demands. The director is looking into the matter and is willing to compensate the distributors after Liger failed to impress the audience. Liger was criticised for its lousy screenplay and cliched narration. Many pointed out that Vijay Deverakonda was arrogant during the promotions, because of which the film flopped.

Written and directed by Puri Jagannadh, Liger is a sports drama with Vijay Deverakonda essaying the role of an MMA fighter with stammering issues. While Ananya Panday played his love interest, Ramya Krishnan was seen as his mother. Boxing legend Mike Tyson was seen in an extended cameo. Vish Reddy, Makarand Deshpande, Ronit Roy and Ali played supporting roles.
