Ananya Panday and Vijay Deverakonda had a great time chatting at Apoorva Mehta’s birthday bash last night. The duo has paired up for Liger.
Ananya Panday is hardly over the success of her OTT project, Gehraiyaan when we saw a glimpse of how amazing Liger promotions are going to be. For the unaware, Ananya makes her South debut with Liger, co-starring Vijay Deverakonda. The two stars were seen chatting away to glory at Dharma Productions CEO, Apoorva Mehta’s 50th birthday bash last night, March 17.
On March 17, we saw many who’s who of tinsel town including Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan, Gauri Khan, Katrina Kaif, Vicky Kaushal, Janhvi Kapoor, Ananya Panday, and others, dressed in their bests, at Apoorva Mehta’s birthday bash. Ananya arrived looking like an absolute diva in a part-sheer gown. Just when we were waiting for inside glimpses of the bash, producer-actress Charmme Kaur posted a video of Ananya having a gala time chatting with Liger co-star, Vijay Deverakonda. What appeared from the video, the two were engaged in a fun conversation.
Sharing the glimpse, Charmme wrote, “My stunning #Liger couple I love u both (sic).” Ananya’s mom, Bhavana Pandey posted a red heart emoji on the video.
After multiple delays, Liger starring Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday will finally see the light of the day on August 25, 2022, in theatres. The film will release in five languages, namely, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada. Liger has been shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi. The film is jointly produced by Puri Jagannadh, Charmme Kaur and Karan Johar. Liger is being helmed by Puri Jagannadh himself. The best part is, while the film marks Vijay’s Hindi debut, Ananya will step into the South film industry with Liger.
