Lata Mangeshkar health update: She's showing signs of improvement, still in ICU

Lata Mangeshkar is showing signs of improvement. However, she is still in the ICU, under observation, in Mumbai's Breach Candy Hospital.

Lata Mangeshkar was admitted to Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital after testing Covid positive on January 8 for treatment. The legendary singer is now showing signs of improvement and is currently undergoing treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Lata Mangeshkar's team has issued a statement regarding her health update.

Lata Mangeshkar is still in the ICU unit of Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital. The recent statement about her health shared by a close family friend says, “Lata Didi is showing signs of improvement from before and is under treatment in the ICU from the amazing team of doctors spearheaded by Dr Pratit Samdani. We are looking forward and praying for her speedy healing and coming back home."

Ever since Lata Mangeshkar has been admitted to the hospital, several rumours about her health have been floating. A few days ago, yet another statement calmed Lata Mangeshkar’s well-wishers. The note mentioned that the singing maestro was stable and false updates aren’t to be taken seriously. The statement read, “It is disturbing to see false news being circulated. Please note that Lata didi is stable. Continues to be in ICU under treatment of able doctors. Please pray for her quick return home."
