A large number of UPTET aspirants were unable to appear for the exam held on January 23 after the were denied entry at the Sector 30 DPS exam centre. It was the lack of certain documents that made officials refuse them entry for the major teacher recruitment exam.
A UPTET aspirant told ANI that officials wanted them to produce the principal’s signature which had not been possible because the concerned person was in Allahabad. Printouts of BEd marksheets had to be attested and without that, students were not allowed entry.
As per ANI, Noida ADCP Ranvijay Singh said that the only aspirants debarred entry were those who were missing valid documents.
"Those not having valid documents were not allowed, as per the officials here...For mark sheet attestation, they should have it signed either by the Principal or a concerned officer, but they got it from somewhere (else)...which is why they were denied entry," Singh said as per ANI.
