Lamborghini fulfills 11-year-old cancer patient's dream with special drive in Mumbai
India Today
An 11-year-old cancer patient from Jalgaon, undergoing treatment at Tata Memorial Hospital, was given the chance to experience a Lamborghini ride.
Between treatments at Mumbai’s Tata Memorial Hospital, Mukund shared a small but heartfelt wish. The 11-year-old, undergoing treatment for metastatic bone cancer, wanted to experience what it felt like to sit inside a Lamborghini.
Mukund is from Jalgaon. Between long hours of treatment and waiting, he shared a simple dream, of sitting inside a Lamborghini. It was not an extravagant demand, just a child’s imagination reaching beyond hospital walls.
That wish found its way onto X, where a post explained how Aniruddh Karanjekar, a supporter of the ImPaCCT Foundation, decided to act on it. Without fanfare or pressure, he reached out to Lamborghini. What followed was unexpectedly warm. There were no delays or formalities that often come with big brands. Instead, a response arrived that felt thoughtful and immediate.
Soon after, a Lamborghini pulled up outside the hospital. Mukund and his mother were taken on a long drive through Mumbai. For a few hours, the rhythms of hospital life faded away. The beeping machines and white corridors were replaced by city traffic, open roads and the simple joy of movement. Mukund was no longer a patient, he was just a child experiencing something he had only imagined before.
