Khuda Haafiz 2 box office collection Day 4: Vidyut Jammwal's film finally gathers speed

Khuda Haafiz 2 has finally picked pace at the box office. The film released on July 8.

Vidyut Jammwal-starrer Khuda Haafiz: Chapter II Agni Pariksha struggled a lot at the box office in the first three days of its release. However, the film finally gained momentum on Day 4. Khuda Haafiz 2's box office collection now stands at Rs 6.55 crore, according to early estimates. Khuda Haafiz Chapter 2: Agni Pariksha is written and directed by Faruk Kabir. The film is a direct sequel to Vidyut Jammwal’s 2020 film Khuda Haafiz, which was released on Disney+ Hotstar amid the Covid-19 pandemic. Both films are directed by Faruk Kabir and co-star Shivaleeka Oberoi. The action drama, which released on July 8, had done a business of around Rs 1.25 crore on its first day.

Khuda Haafiz: Chapter II Agni Pariksh earned Rs 2.20 crore at the box office on Day 3, taking the total to Rs 5 crore. The film's collection is similar to Aditya Roy Kapur-starrer Rashtra Kavach Om that tanked at the box office. According to early trade estimates, Khuda Haafiz 2's total box office collection on Day 4 stood at Rs 6.55 crore, which is slightly better. Its single day collection on July 11 was around Rs 1 crore. The film had a low first weekend, but it seems like it will finally do well now. Khuda Haafiz: Chapter II Agni Pariksh may join the list of failed action releases this year that included Om, Heropanti 2 and Dhakaad. Meanwhile, the film had an overall 9.90 per cent Hindi occupancy on Monday, July 11.

Khuda Haafiz Chapter 2 is the sequel to Vidyut Jammwal’s 2020 film, Khuda Haafiz, which was released on Disney+Hotstar. The film is written and directed by Faruk Kabir and produced by Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak, Sneha Bimal Parekh and Ram Mirchandani under the banner of Panorama Studios.The film is a heartwrenching tale of a couple who lost their daughter to rapists.
