The announcement video of actor Rajinikanth's new film, tentatively titled, KH X RK was released on February 21, 2026. This film marks his reunion with Kamal Haasan as the duo was last seen together in the 1979 fantasy film Allauddinum Albhutha Vilakkum.
The first announcement video shows a fun banter among director Nelson, composer Anirudh Ravichander, Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan. In the video, Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan are seen second-guessing about their attire. As their look is revealed, both actors are seen twinning in retro appearances.
