Dr Sakeer, principal of PTM Higher Secondary School near Perinthalmanna in Malappuram district, decided to solve the issue of the bus himself after he received many complaints.
In Kerala's Malappuram, a school principal decided to stand in front of a private bus after he received multiple complaints about buses not stopping near his school. The video of the principal standing in front of the bus and arguing with the driver has gone viral.
Dr Sakeer, principal of PTM Higher Secondary School near Perinthalmanna in Malappuram district, decided to solve the issue himself after he received many complaints. Dr Sakeer is also the president of the state principal's organization.
He decided to venture out to solve the issue on his own without informing many to avoid any sort of clash. There were complaints that a private bus named "Rajaprabha" running on Kozhikode Palakkad route was not stopping at the bus station, making it difficult for students.
Sakeer tried to stop the bus earlier also but failed. The video captured by onlookers has gone viral with the social media applauding the principal. Loud applause can also be heard in the background.
There were also complaints about the driver's rash driving, creating a dangerous situation for the students. A complaint was filed with the police but there was no action from their end which prompted the principal to step up
The bus halted in front of the school afterwards.
