Kerala’s postgraduate doctors of government medical colleges have called off their strike. The CM’s office assured the protesting doctors that their demands would be met after managing the current financial crisis.
The postgraduate (PG) doctors in Kerala have decided to call off their strike after a meeting held at Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan's office. The chief minister’s office (CMO) assured the protesting doctors that their grievances would be addressed.
The medicos have decided to resume their duties from Friday. The demands of the protesting doctors include appointment of 700 temporary staff and a four per cent annual stipend hike and expediting the NEET counselling.
