KBC 14 Episode 19 Written Update: Big B opens up about not becoming poet like dad Harivansh Rai Bachchan

In the August 31 episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 14, Amitabh Bachchan welcomed Anil Mathur on the show. Big B also opened up about not becoming poet like his father Harivansh Rai Bachchan.

The August 31 episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 14 began on a festive note on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. Host Amitabh Bachchan entered the stage decked up in a pink traditional suit. The game began with the fastest finger round, and it was won by Anil Mathur. He is an assistant teacher from Kanpur. He took home just Rs 10,000. During the episode, Big B also remembered his father Harivansh Rai Bachchan and why he didn't become a poet like him.

During the epiode, Anil Mathur asked Big B if he also has a knack to write poems like his late father Harivansh Rai Bachchan. Big B answered, “I don't write poems. In my house, my father was a poet. When I was growing up and started working and my mother was asked about me not becoming a poet. My mother said ‘ghar me ek kavi kaafi hai’.”

KBC 14 premiered on Sunday, August 7. The first episode witnessed Big B welcoming eminent celebrities, who took over the hotseat and played the game.
