Kavitha meets KCR at Erravelli farmhouse
HYDERABAD
BRS MLC and Telangana Jagruthi president K. Kavitha met her father and former Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao at his farmhouse in Erravelli, Siddipet, on Wednesday, before he left for Hyderabad to appear before the Justice P.C. Ghose Commission.
Her visit at the farmhouse assumed significance since this was the first meeting with her father after the controversial letter to him was leaked.
Ms. Kavitha, along with her husband Anil Kumar, drove to Erravelli to show solidarity as KCR prepared to appear before the inquiry commission.
KCR, accompanied by senior BRS leaders, left for Hyderabad in a convoy to appear before the commission. BRS leaders Harish Rao, Palla Rajeshwar Reddy, Vaddiraju Ravichandra and Vemula Prashanth Reddy, followed him.
It may be noted here that KCR’s childhood friend and party leader Jahangir continuing the old practice tied the ‘Imam-e-Zaman’ (arm band), also known as ‘dhatti’, on KCR’s right hand, wishing him good luck. KCR often wears this arm band on important occasions and meetings, popularising it among his followers.
Meanwhile, Mr. Rajeshwar Reddy suffered a leg injury after falling at KCR’s farmhouse and was admitted to a corporate hospital.
