The 73rd Emmy Awards are underway at LA's Microsoft Theater with a limited audience, and that is a huge step up from last year's event which was primarily a virtual affair owing to the Covid-19 pandemic.

This time, Apple TV+'s Ted Lasso led with 20 nominations and already bagged three trophies, one for Jason Sudeikis in the Lead Actor category, and Hannah Waddington and Brett Goldstein in the Supporting Actress and Actor categories.
