Kate Middleton wears Queen Elizabeth II’s diamond and pearl earrings twice in a row

Kate, Princess of Wales, wore a pair of Queen Elizabeth II’s famous pearl earrings with a diamond stud during an event.
Prince William and Kate, Princess of Wales met with troops from the Commonwealth countries who travelled overseas for the upcoming State Funeral of the late Queen Elizabeth II of the UK, at the Army Training Centre Pirbright in Surrey.
Kate wore a pair of Queen Elizabeth’s famous pearl earrings with a diamond stud during the event. A few days ago, the Princess of Wales wore the same piece of jewellery from the Queen’s collection at Sandringham to view the floral tributes laid out by people after Queen Elizabeth’s demise.
The Princess of Wales wore a long buttoned coat by Catherine Walker and paired it with a dainty hat from Lock & Co. Hatters.

The earrings were worn during the Queen’s Silver Jubilee in 1977, as per The Court Jeweller’s Lauren Kiehna. The piece was previously lent to Kate Middleton by the Queen during her first solo trip to the Netherlands in 2016.
Queen Elizabeth II passed away after a 70-year-long reign on September 8. She was 96.
As the new King Charles’s former Prince of Wales title is to be inherited by his eldest son, William and Kate saw an additional change to their official titles. The Princess of Wales title, last officially used by Princess Diana, will now be used by Kate Middleton.
