Amid the ugly public spat between Nisha Rawal and Karan Mehta, their good friend Kashmera Shah, took to social media to pen a long note. She said that she doesn't want to take sides but support their son, Kavish.

Television couple Karan Mehra and Nisha Rawal are going through a rough patch which is under the public scanner now. Amid this, Kashmera Shah took to social media to support the family and raise her voice against the gossip surrounding them. Kashmera is a good friend of Nisha. Sharing a family picture, the actress lent her support to the couple's son, Kavish, and said that she will do what she feels is best for the family. Kashmera Shah took to her official Instagram account to post a picture featuring Karan Mehra, Nisha Rawal and their son Kavish. The family is all smiles in the photo. In her long note, Kashmera wrote, “These are my friends. These are the people I love very much. All three of them. So when one is hurt by the other I am sure the other is also hurting. I am writing this today because I could not bring myself to take just one person’s side yesterday as I was told, and believe you me, I am told by people from both sides. Then there were inane calls from the press hounding me as their friend asking me to wash their dirty laundry in public which I WILL NOT. Very few journalists called and understood my silence (sic).”
