Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani have finally started shooting for Satyaprem Ki Katha. The muhurat shot was done today, September 3.

A few weeks back, the makers of Satyaprem Ki Katha, starring Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani, announced that the film's title had been changed. Previously, the film was called Satyanarayan Ki Katha. The director of the film, Sameer Vidwans, issued a statement to announce that the title was changed to avoid hurting sentiments. Now, we have got an exciting update on the film. Kartik and Kiara have finally started shooting for Satyaprem Ki Katha.

The highly anticipated film of Sajid Nadiadwala in collaboration with Namah Pictures - Satyaprem Ki Katha has gone on floors with the first clap being initiated today. The film stars Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani in lead roles. The entire cast, director Sameer Vidwans, producers Sajid Nadiadwala, Shareen Mantri Kedia and Kishor Arora along with Wardha Nadiadwala and Shafat Nadiadwala were present at the onset of a new beginning.

Satyaprem Ki Katha has become the hottest topic of discussion since the time it was announced. The film is a musical love story that reunites Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani for the second time after their latest venture, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.

Satnarayan Ki Katha got embroiled in a controversy in Madhya Pradesh. Hinduist organisation, Sanskriti Bachao Manch, on Saturday submitted a memorandum to register a criminal case against producer Sajid Nadiadwala in different police stations of Bhopal. They also warned that if Sajid comes to Bhopal, his face will be blackened. Talking to India Today, president of Sanskriti Bachao Manch, Chandrashekhar Tiwari, alleged that for some time, efforts have been made to humiliate Hindu deities through films and Satyanarayan Ki Katha is also one of them. He added that the organisation will not tolerate any attempt being made to hurt Hindu public sentiments by producing such films.

The film is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala in collaboration with Namah Pictures. It will release on June 29, 2023.
