A motorcyclist was washed away in an overflowing drain in Hubballi on Wednesday night after heavy downpour.
Hubballi received heavy rains on Wednesday evening which continued past midnight resulting in waterlogging in many localities.
According to witnesses, Hussainsab Kalasad, a resident of Beerband Oni in Hubballi, was riding a motorcycle in a waterlogged road near Nekar Nagar when he lost control and fell into an overflowing drain, and was washed away.
The municipal authorities are yet to recover the body and search is still on.
