Karnataka Congress MLA eats food chewed, spit out by Dalit seer | Watch

The Karnataka Congress MLA was seemingly trying to set an example against caste discrimination, news agency ANI reported.

When elections approach, politicians tend to do what you would never expect of anyone. But what happened in Karnataka, a state which goes to polls next year, is nothing short of bizarre.

In a video, which has now been shared multiple times on social media, a Congress MLA is seen feeding a Dalit seer, as everyone around cheers him. All is normal till now.

Suddenly, the Chamarajapete MLA, BZ Zameer A Khan, is seen vigorously gesturing to the seer, Swami Narayana, to spit the morsel out. Caught off guard, Swami Narayana spits it out and feeds the chewed food to the MLA, on his instructions. A few around him burst out laughing, in disbelief.

But the MLA, unfazed and unflinching, starts to bang the table to the beats of the thunderous applause.

All this seemingly in an attempt to set an example against caste discrimination, news agency ANI reported.
