Even as a Covid lockdown is in effect in Karnataka — barring inter-state travel and visit religious places, Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa's son BY Vijayendra violated restrictions to visit the Srikanteshwara temple in Nanjangud. The incident happened on Tuesday. BY Vijayendra visited the temple with his wife. A Covid lockdown is in force in Karnataka which only permits interstate travel for essential services. Places of worship are also closed to curtail the spread of Covid-19.
