Due to military tensions along the border, students from Jammu & Kashmir appearing for UGCET-2025 will be given another opportunity to complete their document verification process. There is no need to panic, said H. Prasanna, Executive Director of the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA).

In a press statement, he revealed that out of 204 students from Jammu & Kashmir who appeared for this year’s CET, only 52 have been able to complete the document verification so far.
Considering the prevailing conditions in the border region, KEA will offer these students an additional chance. If the situation does not improve within the next 10 to 15 days, document verification will be facilitated through video conferencing to ensure that students are not inconvenienced in any way. “All affected candidates have been individually informed,” he added.
