Kapoor family dances at Aadar Jain's mehendi ceremony, featuring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor, and more.
The Kapoor family came together in full festive spirit at Aadar Jain and Alekha Advani’s mehendi ceremony in Mumbai on Wednesday. A viral inside video from the celebration shows Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni letting loose on the dance floor.
In the video, which has been widely shared by fan pages, the Kapoor cousins can be seen grooving to Sukhbir’s iconic track Ishq Tera Tadpave. Kareena and Karisma were the first to take the lead, soon joined by Riddhima, Alia, and Ranbir, and other family members and friends following their lead.
Kareena Kapoor, who stunned in a traditional embroidered Sabyasachi kurti, also took to Instagram to share glimpses of her look for the evening. In her caption, she subtly referenced the recent attack on her husband, Saif Ali Khan, stating, “After the darkness, comes the light. Putting the negativity behind and embracing the joy... celebrating love and family with my favorite people. Love conquers all.”
Aadar Jain and Alekha Advani, who tied the knot in a Christian ceremony in Goa earlier this year, are set to have a traditional Hindu wedding in the coming days. The couple first made their relationship public in late 2023, with Aadar describing Alekha as the “light of my life.”

Parvathi Nayar’s new exhibition, The Primordial, in Mumbai, traces oceans, pepper and climate change
Opened on March 12, the exhibition marks the artist’s first solo show in Mumbai in nearly two decades. Known for her intricate graphite drawings and multidisciplinary practice spanning installation, photography, video, and climate change, her artistic journey has long engaged with the themes of ecology, climate change and the natural world. In this ongoing exhibition, these strands converge through a series of works centred on water, salt, and pepper — materials that carry natural and historic weight across centuries.
