Rana Daggubati and Vishnu Vishal's Kaadan and Aranya (Telugu) hit the theatres today. The first reviews suggest that the film is well-intentioned and entertaining.

Director Prabu Solomon's Kaadan (Aranya in Telugu) released in theatres in the South today. The film starring Rana Daggubati and Vishnu Vishal is receiving mixed reviews from the audience and critics alike. The makers of the trilingual waited for a year to release the film due to theatres being shut in the country in view of the novel coronavirus pandemic. #Kaadan [3/5] : A movie that shows the devastating effects of deforestation on the habitats of elephants..How that will eventually affect all of us.. @RanaDaggubati has given a sincere performance.. I just travelled into a forest for 2.5hrs with a man called #Aranya@RanaDaggubati u r one Gem of an Actor, Totally surrendered for ur way of 'Story Telling'Kudos to all the Technicians who made rigorous efforts to make the rain forest look more realisticWatch in Theatres pic.twitter.com/BwsHicK5jf General audience like chestaru antunaru..Let's wait till evening #Aranya #Aranya emotional 1st half. When storytelling becomes laborious craft people tend to forget about the basics and cling on to a vision that cannot always guarantee a good script. #Aranya is one such film.
