The Blue Dragon Series Awards took place in South Korea on July 19, 2022. The award show was graced by the Korean entertainment industry's who and who. Girls' Generation's YoonA and Jun Hyun Moo turned hosts for the entire award show. The Blue Dragon Series Awards were held to honor the content released on streaming platforms such as Netflix, Disney Plus, Apple TV +, Kakao TV, Coupang Play, and TVing, among others, between May 2021 to April 2022.
The award show was hosted at Paradise City in Incheon. On the red carpet, actress Kim Go-eun of Yumi's Cells fame and Han Hyo-joo made a ravishing entry. While Go-eun stunned in a powder blue coloured gown, Hyo-joo opted for a peach-coloured gown. Jung Hae-in looked dapper in a tuxedo along with Ahn Bo-hyun, among others.

Here's a list of winners at the 1st Blue Dragon Series Awards: EXO's Kai won the Best New Male Entertainer award. On the other hand, Joo Hyun-young bagged the Best New Female Entertainer award. Jung Ho-yeon of Squid Game won the Best New Actress award, and Koo Kyo-hwan of D.P won the Best New Actor award.
