Covid-19 positive Jr NTR shared a note requesting his fans not to celebrate his birthday amid the raging coronavirus pandemic. The actor will be turning a year older tomorrow, May 20.

Jr NTR, who is currently in isolation after testing Covid-19 positive, took to social media to request his fans not to celebrate his birthday amid the coronavirus crisis. Jr NTR will turn 38 on May 20. He reminded his fans that we, as a country, are at war with Covid-19. He wrote that the medical community and the frontline workers are waging a selfless and tireless war and are saving many lives. Ahead of his birthday, he issued a statement requesting his fans not to celebrate his birthday. He also shared a health update saying that he is doing well and is hoping to test negative for Covid-19 soon.He wrote, "My dear fans, a big thank you to each and every one of you. I have seen your messages, your videos and your good wishes. Your prayers have kept me going and I am indebted to you all for this love. I am doing very good and I hope to test negative soon (sic)."
