Jr NTR has announced two of his upcoming projects, NTR 30 and NTR 31. However, there has been no update on NTR's potential collaboration with Uppena director Buchi Babu. Notably, Buchi Babu had been waiting to work with NTR for the last one year.

On the occasion of Jr NTR's birthday on Friday, May 20, the makers of NTR 30 and NTR 31 have dropped official updates. However, there has been no update on Buchi Babu's potential collaboration with Jr NTR.

There have been reports that Buchi Babu impressed Jr NTR with a sports drama script. The filmmaker had been waiting to collaborate with the RRR star for the last one year, but his wait has just gotten longer as Jr NTR seems to be fully focused on director Koratala Siva's NTR 30 and Prashanth Neel's NTR 31.

Buchi Babu scored a box office blockbuster with his debut film, Uppena, which released in 2021. He had been patiently waiting to work with Jr NTR ever since. While there have been reports that the actor is impressed with the script penned by Buchi Babu, there have been no announcements on the collaboration yet. Buchi Babu is left waiting now.

Jr NTR is likely to commence shooting for director Koratala Siva's NTR 30 in July. The makers of Prashanth Neel's NTR 31 announced that the shooting of the film will begin in April 2023. In that case, Jr NTR will be occupied with these projects till the end of 2023.

So, it remains to be seen when Buchi Babu's project with Jr NTR can actually materialise.
