The JNU counter-terrorism optional course for engineering students was given the green signal on Thurday. The JNU VC had earlier issued a press note justifying the course content and saying the controversy was uncalled for.
A controversy recently erupted over the content in an optional course on counter terrorism introduced in Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) for dual-degree engineering students. JNU VC M Jagdeesh Kumar issued a press note on Wednesday regarding the same. On Thursday, it was cleared to go ahead. The counter-terrorism course is titled ‘Counter Terrorism, Asymmetric Conflicts and Strategies for Cooperation among Major Powers’.It is being offered to students pursuing an MS with specialisation in International Relations after a BTech in Engineering. Classes for the same will begin from September 20.
Students who appeared for the Bihar School Examination Board Class 12 exams can now access their results through multiple platforms, including the India Today Board Results page for smoother and quicker access. With heavy traffic expected on official websites, this alternative option ensures students can check their scores without delays or technical glitches.
