Jisoo reveals Blackpink band members were overly excited about her debut with Snowdrop

Popular Korean drama Snowdrop begins streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from today, February 9. Jisoo, who plays the lead role in the series revealed how her Blackpink band members reacted when they got to know about her acting debut.
Snowdrop, one of the much-anticipated Kdramas has started streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from today, February 9. It will also be available in Hindi. Starring Blackpink's Jisoo and Jung Hae-in of Something In The Rain fame, the 16-episode series explores the forbidden love between a young couple trapped in a time of political turmoil.
Talking about her band’s reaction, Jisoo, who made her debut as the leading actress in Snowdrop, said, "They were overly excited about sending me a coffee truck to the set. They looked forward to it more than anything else, and fought over who’d get to send the first one."
She further added, "They promised me they’d watch the show when it airs and asked me to give them some spoilers I hadn’t told anyone else. I didn’t, of course, (laugh). I think their promise motivated me to work harder."
Snowdrop has been written by Yoo Hyun-mi and directed by Jo Hyun-tak, the duo behind the 2018 thriller Sky Castle. The Kdrama is centered around the forbidden romance of a young couple, which will take viewers on an emotional rollercoaster ride full of excitement, action, and romance. The series follows Yeong-ro (Jisoo) as she goes against her family and her country to help the man she loves, while Jung Hae-in puts everything on the line to save the only thing he loves more than his country, Yeong-ro.
