Jio launches annual plan at Rs 2999 with 2.5GB daily data, check similar plans from Airtel and Vi

The Rs 2999 from Jio offers 2.5GB data per day along with 100SMS per day. The new prepaid plan from Jio is similar to prepaid plans from Airtel and Vi priced at Rs 2999 and Rs 2899 respectively.

Telecom operators Airtel, Jio and Vi rolled out some prepaid plans after the tariff hike in December that are likely to bring some respite for users. Earlier this month, the telcos introduced prepaid plans around Rs 666 that give access to over 70 days validity. While Airtel and Vi offer 77 days validity with their Rs 666 prepaid plans, Jio gives 84 days validity with its plan. All plans give access to 1.5GB daily data and other benefits. Jio has now introduced an annual plan priced at Rs 2999.
