Oh, the irony.
Jimmy Fallon knows just the right occasion to zing President Donald Trump.
“Today at the White House, President Trump hosted an event to celebrate Women’s History Month,” the “Tonight Show” host began on Thursday. “Yep, they discussed everything except Trump’s history with women.”
He let the line hang in the room before moving on.
Trump has been accused of misconduct dozens of times and was found guilty of sexually abusing and later defaming E. Jean Carroll in a civil case. In November, he asked the Supreme Court to throw out the case. Months earlier, an appeals court upheld the $83.3 million judgment against him.
The White House ceremony on Thursday featured Trump receiving an Order of Ikkos medal ― a token of gratitude ― from Canadian-turned-American bobsledder Kaillie Humphries, who won two bronze medals at the Winter Olympics last month to go with three golds and a bronze from previous Games.
