'He's So Close To Getting It': Stephen Colbert Spots Trump's Brutal Self-Own
HuffPost
The "Late Show" host highlighted an unexpected moment during the president's speech in Kentucky.
“Late Show” host Stephen Colbert on Thursday mocked President Donald Trump’s unusual pronunciation of “Kentucky” when he spoke at an event there earlier this week.
Trump repeatedly called the state “Keen-tucky,” as seen in this clip:
“How can you not know how to pronounce that word?” Colbert asked. “It’s on every one of your chicken buckets.”
But it was another moment during the speech that really caught Colbert’s eye.
Trump explained why he was keeping up the relentless assault on Iran, saying it was to protect the country from future presidents ― but critics might say his choice of words was really a reference to himself.
