'Jeopardy' Throws Serious Shade At Timothée Chalamet, And It’s On Point

It seems the game show took issue with the “Marty Supreme” actor’s claim that no one cares about ballet and opera.
Hey, if anyone cares about ballet and opera, it’s definitely “Jeopardy!” contestants.
On Monday, the long-running game show decided to throw a little shade at actor Timothée Chalamet after he made controversial remarks about the classical art forms.
“I admire people, and I’ve done it myself, who go on a talk show and say, ‘Hey, we’ve got to keep movie theaters alive, we’ve gotta keep this genre alive,’ the “Marty Supreme” star said in part at a Variety & CNN town hall last week.
“I don’t want to be working in ballet or opera or things where it’s like, ‘Hey, keep this thing alive, even though like no one cares about this anymore.’ All respect to all the ballet and opera people out there,” said the actor, who’s starring in a movie about the wildly popular sport of… ping-pong.
In response to Chalamet’s remarks, “Jeopardy!” dug into its archives and posted a clip on Instagram from its Second Chance tournament final, which aired in January and just happened to feature “Ballet & Opera” as a category.
