
Nicole Kidman Speaks About Her Divorce From Keith Urban For The First Time

Nicole Kidman gave her first public comments on her split from Keith Urban this week as part of a candid new interview with Variety.
The “Moulin Rouge” actor confirmed to the outlet she’s in good spirits since finalizing her divorce from Urban in January after about 19 years of marriage.
“I’m always going to be moving toward what’s good. What I’m grateful for is my family and keeping them as is and moving forward,” she said. “That’s that. Everything else I don’t discuss out of respect.”
She went on to note: “I’m staying in a place of, ‘We are a family,’ and that’s what we’ll continue to be. My beautiful girls, my darlings, who are suddenly women.”
Kidman and Urban, a country musician whose hits include “Someone Like You” and “Blue Ain’t Your Color,” announced their separation in September of last year. The former couple share daughters Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14.
