The proposed scheme will provide education loans to students for higher education at a nominal interest.Jharkhand's JMM-led government released a Rs 1.01-lakh-crore budget for the fiscal year 2022-23, including increased expenditure on health and infrastructure.

"In such cases, they miss the opportunity of higher education. Under Guruji Credit Card, the state government will be the guarantor for such loans," he added.
To help degree-holding students to prepare for competitive examinations, the Mukhyamantri Sarathi Scheme has also been proposed.
Additionally, as per the budget, the Marang Gomke Jaipal Singh Munda Trans-national Scholarship scheme is going to be extended to students belonging to scheduled caste, backward and minority communities.
