Jennifer Winget finally breaks silence on separation from ex-husband Karan Singh Grover, says I was lost

In an interview, Jennifer Winget opened up about her separation from her ex-husband Karan Singh Grover. The former couple was together for almost two years.
There was a time when Jennifer Winget and Karan Singh Grover made one of the most popular jodis in the industry. However, they decided to part ways just two years after getting married. Jennifer and Karan tied the knot in 2012 and got separated in 2014. After all these years, the actress finally broke her silence on the matter and talked about the ‘stressful’ time of her life.
Back in 2014, Jennifer Winget and Karan Singh Grover’s divorce became the talk of the town. While fans were thinking Karan finally found his soul mate in Jennifer, as it was his second marriage, the actor left everyone in shock when he admitted the divorce front. Now, Jennifer opened up the separation during an interview with Siddharth Kannan and said that during that phase, she was lost and made work her priority.
“My separation was out in the public, and I wasn’t even on social media. People were writing a lot of sh*it about him and me. And it was an invasion of privacy for both of us. That period was very stressful. I was lost and didn’t know what was happening. I went back into my shell and work helped me to come back with this energy,” said Jennifer.
The actress also added that she came out of that phase as a better and stronger person. “I am so thankful that this situation happened. I realised that there is so much more that I have to offer. I found this new life, and became Jennifer 2.0. When I look back at it, it was the best time of my life. At that time it didn’t feel so, but whatever happened and I’m so much better now,” she added.
Jennifer Winget is currently enjoying the success of her latest outing, Code M, Season 2. Before this, she was seen in the first season of the television series, Code M, Beyhadh 2, Bepannah and others.
Jennifer and Karan started dating on the sets of their show Dill Mill Gayye. Before tying the knot with Jennifer, Karan was married to Shraddha Nigam. Currently, the actor is happily wedded to Bipasha Basu.
