JBL is claiming that its latest JBL Flip 6 speaker can survive for up to 12 hours on a single charge. Here's everything you need to know.
JBL has launched a new Flip 6 Bluetooth speaker in India, which is priced under Rs 15,000. This is the latest waterproof speaker from the company, which is available in different colors. JBL is claiming that its latest speaker can survive for up to 12 hours on a single charge.
The JBL Flip 6 will retail at Rs 14,999, but customers can currently get it at a discounted price of Rs 11,999 through Amazon. This basically means that you are getting a discount of Rs 3,000 on the new JBL speaker. The Amazon listing mentions that this offer is available for a limited time period. Its predecessor, the JBL Flip 5, is selling on the e-commerce site for as low as Rs 8,999. One will also be able to buy this speaker via JBL’s official website. It is being sold in Ocean Blue, Midnight Black, and Squad Colour options.
JBL hasn’t changed the design of the speaker and the new version looks exactly like the JBL Flip 5. It features a waterproof fabric. It offers multiple buttons as well for adjusting volume and playing music. This is a Bluetooth speaker and not a smart one, so it doesn’t feature a microphone or has support for Google Assistant.
The device is IP67 rated, which means it is dust and water-resistant. The company claims that the speaker features a USB Type-C charging port, which has some protection level that can warn a user when it senses water, so users can unplug the device. The device can play a reminder sound to alert the user.
The newly launched JBL Flip 6 comes with one year of warranty and will last up to 12 hours on a single charge. It sports dual passive radiators and a separate tweeter as well. It comes with support for 20W output. There is also a PartyBoost feature that will allow you to connect to this JBL speaker with other audio products to create a stereo effect. One can also download the JBL app for a better sound experience. The speaker can be connected to up to two speakers.
