Writer-poet-lyricist Javed Akhtar has sought rejection of a civil defamation suit registered at a Thane court against him over the alleged RSS-Taliban remarks.
Through his advocate Jay K Bharadwaj, Akhtar filed an application, stating that he is seeking rejection of the complaint on the ground that the complainant "does not have a locus and a cause of action in his favour to file or maintain" the plea.
