Japan envoy finds his favourite Bengaluru pizza spot run by people from home
India Today
A social media post from Japan's Ambassador to India about his visit to a Bengaluru pizza restaurant has left the internet drooling.
Diplomacy took a delicious turn in Bengaluru after Japan’s Ambassador to India, Ono Keiichi, shared his latest food discovery online. A pizza shop run by Japanese entrepreneurs soon turned into a viral moment, with the ambassador calling it the best pizza he has had in India so far.
The ambassador posted pictures from Pizza 4P’s, a well-known restaurant in the Karnataka capital that blends Italian flavours with subtle Japanese influences. Founded by Japanese entrepreneurs in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, the brand has steadily grown across Asia, with outlets in Japan and India. The Bengaluru branch, in particular, has earned a loyal following for its farm-to-table approach to carefully crafted pizzas.
In the images shared on X, he is seen enjoying a pizza with freshly made burrata placed at the centre, flanked by leafy greens on one side. Alongside the photos, he wrote, “Dropped by Pizza 4P’s in Bengaluru. Founded by Japanese entrepreneurs in Ho Chi Minh City, now loved across Asia, with branches in Japan and here in India too. Easily the best pizza I’ve had in India so far!”

Bengaluru South MP Tejasvi Surya also responded to the post, calling the restaurant “a symbol of Japanese–Bengaluru friendship” and wishing the ambassador well on his visit to the city.
The post quickly resonated with social media users. Many Bengaluru residents chimed in to agree with the ambassador’s verdict, sharing their own experiences at the restaurant and photos from past visits. Several users joked about how difficult it is to secure a table, with the restaurant often booked out days in advance.

The aircraft had also been used by senior Iranian officials and military figures for both domestic and international travel, and for coordinating with allied countries, the Israeli military said. Meanwhile, Dubai International Airport has resumed flight operations after a temporary suspension of about seven hours caused by a drone strike near a fuel tank facility.

When we look at Iran through the prism of religion and see a Shia Islamic country, we negate its thousands of years of rich pre-Islamic Persian culture. A dive into the world of Zoroastrianism and Vedas shows us how Indians and Iranians have been sharing languages, Gods, sciences and a sacred fire for thousands of years.
