Jamtara 2 trailer was launched on Thursday, September 1. Directed by Soumendra Padhi, the series brings a thrilling new season of the crime drama, which will premiere on September 23.

Netflix India unveiled the trailer of Season 2 of the crime drama, Jamtara - Sabka Number Ayega. This time, the scams have gotten bigger and more dangerous. This time, Jamtara's phishing world has expanded. The new season has intertwined old rivalries with new characters. Jamtara 2 will premiere on September 23 on Netflix.

Jamtara is returning with new scams and new plans. The official Instagram account of Netflix India shared the trailer of Jamtara Season 2. "Congratulations, your account has been selected to view the Jamtara trailer Use OTP, "love you admin" in the comments #JamtaraOnNetflix (sic)," read the caption.

Based on true-crime incidents, Jamtara made everyone aware of phishing scams in the country. Now, coming back stronger with season two, with cyber-crime more widespread, the series promises to bring in how the young scamsters have innovated and diversified phishing in Jamtara, finding themselves up against a wall. In the face of insurmountable odds, politics, and an unquenchable want of power, Sunny Mondal (Sparsh Shrivastav), his older cousin Rocky (Anshumaan Pushkar), and Gudiya bring the fight to local politician, Brajesh Bhaan.

Produced by Viacom18 Studios’ Tipping Point and directed by Soumendra Padhi, Season 2 of Jamtara has been written by Trishant Srivastava. The series will be a mix of politics and revenge, paired with an unquenchable thirst for power.

Jamtara: Sabka Number Ayega is the story of young school drop-outs who run an elaborate phishing scam raking in fortunes, only to be intercepted by the police and local politicians. The returning season highlights what grows to become India’s next huge scam, with Sunny at the helm of it while Gudiya and Rocky fight back in their own ways.

Season 1's Sparsh Shrivastav, Anshumaan Pushkar, Monika Panwar and Amit Sial will reprise their roles as Sunny, Rocky, Gudiya and Brajesh alongside Dibyendu Bhattacharya and Aksha Pardhasany. The new season will also feature new characters; Ravi Chahal and the formidable Seema Pahwa.
