Jamia Hamdard launches new course on MSc Medical Virology

Jamia Hamdard has launched a new course on MSc Medical Virology to facilitate the acquisition of new insights into virus biology in view of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Jamia Hamdard has introduced the new course on MSc. Medical Virology for current session 2021-22 in order to facilitate the acquisition of new insights into virus biology and cellular function through the study of viruses and to discover new methodologies to impede viral infection or treat its associated diseases. The history of the virus origin pandemic is very vast, in recent times, the SARS-CoV-2 has created huge havoc globally by causing an outbreak of novel coronavirus disease (Covid-19). The viral epidemic or pandemic keep has a long history and currently, we are going through one of them. In the future also there is the possibility of novel viruses or variants of current viruses that may cause an endemic pandemic as we have seen Nipah, zika, MERS, SARS-CoV in the current time and swine flu in earlier times.
