Daniel Craig's final James Bond film had its world premiere in London on September 28. It was a glitzy premiere which was attended by the cast of the film as well as the Royal family members including Prince William, Kate Middleton, Prince Charles and his wife Camilla. No Time To Die is the British actor's fifth and last outing as 007. The actor arrived on the red carpet at the Royal Albert Hall looking dapper in a fuchsia velvet tuxedo.Craig gave the conventional muted tones of greys, browns, blues and blacks a miss and opted for an unorthodox colour. While a section of social media has championed his choice and gave a big thumbs up to his pink jacket, others did not seem to be very happy with the colour. We've been expecting you... Daniel Craig has arrived on the red carpet at the World Premiere of #NoTimeToDie at the @RoyalAlbertHall. pic.twitter.com/WhG226rKus O dear O (7) dear.James Bond would never wear a garish pink suede dinner jacket. You’re supposed to be a steely-eyed assassin with exemplary sartorial taste, Mr Craig. not an Austin Powers tribute act. pic.twitter.com/Mg6AT6UXTp pink on a red carpet??? And velvet? Nahhhh Looking like an overstuffed plush chair from the 70s. Daniel Craig has come to the red carpet, dressed as the red carpet That outfit is absolutely amazing. And Daniel Craig looks absolutely gorgeous in it. He will be absolutely missed as James Bond. Best Bond going. Such big shoes to fill for the next actor to play him. Thank you Daniel Craig. Onto other great things I like it. I like it when men are willing be a little daring in their fashion choices and will wear different fabrics and colors. Look at those gorgeous blue eyes of #DanielCraig . Looking sauve as usual for the Premiere of #NoTimeToDie Yes only Daniel Craig could pull off a raspberry red, velvet (!) double-breasted jacket very on-trend IF you’re James Bond! 007 Pink is the new men’s formal wear: see Jake and others at the Tonys, Spike and Josh at Cannes, and more.
Daniel Craig’s pink custom-made tuxedo has been designed by London's Anderson & Sheppard's Bespoke Shop and Haberdashery. Pink is a colour historically associated with femininity and it was refreshing to see the Bond actor embrace the colour with such ease. His pink jacket definitely grabbed eyeballs and of course, social media had a plethora of opinions about Daniel Craig’s choice of outfit.
