Jahangirpuri violence: Another accused arrested by SIT from Kolkata

One of the main accused in Jahangirpuri violence was arrested in Kolkata by the Special Cell of the Delhi Police on Thursday.
One more person has been arrested in connection with the communal clashes that took place in Delhi’s Jahangirpuri area on April 16.
The Special Cell of the Delhi police arrested Aarif, who is one of the main accused in the case, from Kolkata on Thursday.
Aarif is a well-known criminal in the Jahangirpuri area and has many criminal cases registered against him.
According to the sources in the Delhi Police’s Special Cell, when the stone pelting took place, the accused incited the mob, spread rumors and played a key role in creating chaos, after which he fled to Kolkata.
So far, nearly 30 people, including two juveniles, have been held by the police in this case.
