Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has asked opposition leaders to 'behave' in the assembly as 11 more MLAs were suspended for disrupting the house during illicit liquor protests.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy hit out at the opposition Telugu Desam Party (TDP) for creating ruckus in the state assembly for the second consecutive day. TDP leaders are protesting against alleged illicit liquor deaths in West Godavari.
Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy said the government has already issued a clarification in the assembly and asked TDP legislators to 'behave in a civilised manner'.
Reddy said TDP leaders should apply logic as to how someone can brew illicit liquor in Jangareddygudem, which has a population of 55,000 and where the entire government machinery has its full presence.

"Preparing illicit liquor may be possible in remote places and it’s not easy to prepare in a municipality like Jangareddygudem," Reddy said.
He added that the government created a Special Enforcement Bureau and 13,000 cases were registered, showing the commitment of the government to curb illicit liquor.
Expressing shock over the remarks of TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu on the liquor issue, the Chief Minister said Naidu had been making contradictory statements.
